Updater is stuck, nothing happens after update attempt

Very rarely updater.exe might get stuck (the process stays open but nothing happens).

 

1. Kill riftcat.exe & updater.exe processes with task manager.

2. Paste linked file into {Riftcat Installation Folder}/libs subfolder (overwrite existing one).

3. Start riftcat normally.

    It is stuck in a loop trying to update even after replacing the file with the one in the link.
